What do you think Panchito's greatest struggle is?
I have to say that it's being poor. This leads to all of his other problems towards his treatment, health, living conditions, and education. He even has to do things a kid his age wouldn't do. Families nowadays have it easy.
Why do you think Peggy avoided Panchito after he walked her home?
Because her parents don't like him.

Do you think religion/spirituality helps or hurts people in poverty?
I say it helps, because it gives them hope and something to look up to. It can also depend on the person and their own beliefs. Without religion and/or spirituality, some people in poverty may give up really easily on life.
Roberto & Panchito work 7 days a week, go to school, and study on Saturday nights. Do you think today's generation of teenagers have the same work/family ethic and values?
Definitely not. Today's teens don't struggle as much as Roberto and Panchito did. Well, maybe in certain areas but not here. We have it good. If we lived during that time, most teens wouldn't know what to do! I have to admit that I wouldn't either. Almost all of the families here have everything, but there is always one that struggles.
Papa can't work because of his medical condition. How does this affect him and his family?
This affects him and his family because he was the one that made a big chunk of the money to pay the bills so now his sons have get a job.

Put yourself in the shoes of a farmworker youth. Imagine working 14 hours in harsh conditions. What would be the hardest thing about this life for you?
I have to say it would be having no REAL education. Dropping out of school and being tardy isn't what I want. I would also be too tired every day to do 1 of the 2 and I would have to miss school.
One of the farmworker kids says, "after all the work is over, nobody remembers the people. Or the children who worked. The farmworker is forgotten." Do you agree with this statement? Do these videos change the way you think about fruits and vegetables? Explain.
Yes, I agree. Nobody cares who picks their food as long as they have food on their table. No, not really. I mean, yeah, I don't agree with kids having to pick the food but it's still food...right?
My Video
I made my video on powtoon.com as a project. It's about a young hispanic girl that moves to America legally without knowing how to write or speak english. A boy named Jack who's the school bully starts to bully on how she talks and tells her to go back where she came from. An African-American boy named Andrew that tries to defend Anna and ends up befriending her. Jack doesn't like him and makes him his new victim but Andrew doesn't really care as long as Anna was okay. Jack then goes to apologies later on after seeing that his bullying had no affect on Andrew.
